Our Founder
Annie Wilson is a veteran interior designer with more than 25 years of industry experience. She has a bachelor of science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University. Annie is also familiar with various types of designing software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup Photoshop, Accurender, and 3D Studio Viz.
Her professional career started as a corporate administrative assistant at Prudential Carruthers Real Estate from 1995 to 2000. She joined Wauters Design Group in McLean, VA as a project designer after finishing her college degree in 2002. Between 2003 to 2008, she worked for W.A. Brown & Associates and Page Southerland Page and handled several projects for them.
In January 2009, she moved to San Diego, CA, and took on contract work for companies such as Interior Resource 2. She founded her first company, W Design, in February of 2010. W Design worked with companies such as Colliers International and Transwestern Commercial Properties, providing them with interior design solutions for their business needs.
Annie also did work for NTD Architecture from October 2012 to March 2013 while she was running W Design. After three years of providing quality work, she left W Design in May 2013. She immediately joined ID Studios to become their Senior Project Manager and Designer where she handled several projects as well as the company’s day-to-day operations. She stayed with ID Studios until August 2020.
